Kianah’s love for animals began in the Philippines, where she grew up surrounded by farm friends, family pets, and countless strays who quickly found a place in her heart. By the age of 12, she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to helping animals—a passion that’s only grown stronger with every paw, hoof, and whisker she’s cared for since. She graduated from Olds College in Veterinary Medical Reception and Technical Assistance and has volunteered with AARCS since 2019, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Before joining City Centre Animal Hospital in July 2025, Kianah expanded her clinical skills at another hospital in Calgary. Eager to keep learning, she hopes to pursue Veterinary Medicine in the future, with special interests in medicine and parasites. Outside of work, Kianah enjoys hiking, running, playing sports, and traveling whenever she can.
